Easy Naan Bread

This is super easy and makes 5 soft and fluffy naan breads!

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup all purpose flour
  • 3 heaped tbsp greek yoghurt
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • Nigella seeds
  • Ghee
  • Salt

Method:

Combine, salt, baking powder and flour in a bowl.

Add yoghurt and mix to form a sticky dough. If the dough is too sticky add flour, if it’s too dry add some more yoghurt.

Transfer onto a floured surface and knead for a couple of minutes.

Take a small portion dough about the size of a lemon, dip it in flour and roll out.

Top with nigella seeds and continue to roll till the seeds stick to the naan and the naan is a few mm thick.

Heat a pan, place the naan and cook for a couple of minutes. You know it’s time to flip when you see bubbles start to form on it.

Flip and cook for a further couple of minutes.

Remove from the flame and apply ghee.

Serve hot with curry.
