Chicken and Pepper Pasta

So Mr. Mack has been cooking again and this is one of his favorites (and now mine too!). Here is the recipe is his own words.

Ingredients:

  • Chicken breasts (500g)
  • 1 Onion
  • 1 Green Pepper
  • Oil
  • Penne pasta (250 g)
  • 1 bottle M&S Made in Italian Pasta sauce

Method:

Chop the onions, and then fry for two mins.

Dice the chicken.

Add the diced chicken, and cook on a very low heat, stirring gently until the chicken is white

Add chopped peppers and cook on low heat for a further three minutes, stirring as you do.

Add the Pasta sauce, stir, and cook on a medium heat.

Once the sauce has reached boiling point, reduce heat, and simmer gently for a further ten minutes

Add the pasta to boiling water, and bring to the boil

Take off the saucepan lid and continue boiling

In total, cook the pasta for 12 minutes

Drain the pasta

You are now ready to serve!
